The 5 Human Design Types in Business

Every person was born with a unique way of using their energy to succeed in life and business, and understanding how to build a business that honors your Human Design can bring so much more ease to your process.

In this 2-part blog series, I'll be sharing bite-sized insights for you to contemplate in regard to brand foundations, offer development, and content creation. Let’s take a look at the basic traits of the 5 Human Design types:

The Manifestor

  • Creative powerhouses who are able to impact and initiate new things into being.

  • Closed, repelling aura that can move things out of their way and initiate new creative pursuits and awakening in others.

  • A gift for bringing creations into the world that can be guided, built, and maintained by the other types.

  • A need for spaciousness in their work that honors their creative surge and rest cycle.

The Projector

  • Guides who are able to master systems and advise on the most efficient use of energy (which attracts recognition and invitations to receive their wisdom + guidance).

  • Focused, absorbing aura that locks onto people's G centers and provides deep insights into their nature.

  • Gift for guiding energy and seeing where people can use their energy more efficiently.

  • A need for spaciousness in their work with ample time to study, rest, and empty other people's energy from their absorbing auras.

The Generator + Manifesting Generator

  • Builders who are able to consistently create and share what they love.

  • Open, enveloping aura that communicates their energetic availability and attracts opportunities to respond to (the sacral is a pulling mechanism).

  • Gift for bringing life to creations and maintaining processes that ensure our survival (nothing would exist without sacral energy).

  • A need for spaciousness in their work that honors their need to respond and only do what feels satisfying.

The Reflector

  • Evaluators who are able to sample and experience everything life has to offer.

  • Sampling, resistant aura that can take in and reflect other people's energy without being conditioned by it.

  • Gift for seeing what's new and unique in their environment/community and evaluating what is missing.

  • A need for spaciousness in their work that honors their fluid identity and way of being (Reflectors are the only type who can temporarily 'become' all the other types through personal or transit definition).

Understanding your Human Design type offers valuable insights for how to optimize your business for more success and less stress (and we all know the overwhelm that comes with entrepreneurship!).

Whether you’re a visionary Manifestor, a steadfast Generator, a wise Projector, an insightful Reflector, or a dynamic Manifesting Generator, aligning your work with your natural strengths is the key to a more profitable business.

In the next post, I'll share a few questions for you to consider when building your brand foundations and offer suite.
